Final Boxing Day Card in the Books
#1
Yesterday (December 26) marked the last Boxing Day card for Standardbreds at Woodbine.  Here is my quick recap.

https://johnny228.wordpress.com/2017/12/...last-time/

Very good racing product at Woodbine and now that WEG is moving all Standardbred racing to newly named Woodbine at Mohawk Park.  both offer 7/8 mile tracks.

Enjoy

I also wrote another piece about harness tracks that go 12 months per year......

Interesting about the year round racing. Growing up in the Northeast Ohio area near Northfield, we just assumed that all tracks race year round. We were surprised to find out this wasn't the norm.
