Dover Downs: Bettorhavbeanother Seeks 4th $30,000 Mares Open Handicap

BETTERHAVEANOTHER SEEKS 4TH $30,000 MARES OPEN HANDICAP
 
DOVER, Del. – Betterhaveanother, a winner of three $30,000 Mares Open Handicap paces already this meet leaves from post 8 in the last top female pace of the season on Wednesday (March 28) at Dover Downs. A $15,000 and a $12,000 female pace top the undercard. Post time is 4:30 p.m.
 
Counting a February win at the Meadowlands, Bettorhaveanother is  a winner of her last four of five starts. Tony Morgan has driven her in all her locals starts for trainer Ron Burke and owners Weaver Bruscemi and Burke Racing, Two of her challengers won their previous races; Gary Ewing’s Sweet Bobbie guided by Art Stafford Jr. and Marion Beachy’s Berazzled with Jonathan Roberts.
 
Mike Hall and Dave Hamm’s front-pacing Nerida Franco N  leaves from the rail for Allan Davis .Terror At Night, owned by  Arlene Paisley, Ed Maas and Nanticoke Racing is enjoying a good year and is handled by Mike Cole.    Breakaway Stable’s Valuable Art and Corey Callahan, moves from post 7 last time to post 4 in this one.  KDK Standardbred’s fast homebred Apple Bottom Jeans, piloted by Vic Kirby raced well in her first start of 2018 and not to be overlooked is Divas Image, who started the new year with three consecutive wins for owners Our Horse Cents, J&T Silva and Stable 45, will be driven by Tim Tetrick,
 
Jay Mehlenbacher, Enviro, Camelot and Bay stable’s Stormtracker (Tetrick)  leads a $22,000 Mares sub-feature; a $16,000 Mares Winner-Over, a $15,000 and a $14,000 female pace are on the strong undercard.
 
Live racing at Dover Downs for the 2017-2018 season comes to a close on  Thursday(March 29) with a powerful card featuring four $100,000 DSBF Three-Year-Old finals and a $40,000 Preferred pace heading a 14-race program. Post time is at 4:30 p.m.
 
Dover Downs’ features a 50-cent Pick 5 wager starting with the 2nd race through the 6th. A late daily double is carded for the 12th and 13th races.
